This property was zoned as a duplex. While we managed the zoning application to convert the home into a single-family dwelling, we also helped the clients select new finishes to replace the old-fashioned 1970’s interiors. To complete the conversion, we combined the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and added a new basement staircase to connect the two units. The new 1st-floor plan included an open, modern kitchen with a two-tone island, wine fridge, and built-in desk. The basement accommodated the den, guest bedroom suite, and laundry room.
