Space was at a premium in this 19th century historic home. We opened a wall between the kitchen and formal dining to install new custom base cabinets for extra storage and more counter surface. Along with the wider pass-through, we restored clerestory windows at the adjacent stairwell and preserved a 1700’s decorative window to gain natural light. The client’s recent trip to South America inspired some of the finishes and color scheme.
