This kitchen was part of a historic 1,000 square foot whole-house renovation. The compact upstairs living space was reserved for a bedroom, bathroom, and home office. So, the clients needed a functional 1st floor space with laundry area and access to the basement storage area. The open layout, white cabinets, and 24-inch tall backsplash made the kitchen seem larger than its tiny footprint suggested.
